Check out your local RibCrib to see if they have an all-you-can-eat rib night (Tuesdays, perhaps).  Great price, great ribs, as many as you an eat.  Now that’s frugal!

Go for a “coffee date” with your spouse.  Go to your local grocery store that has a coffee bean center, mix your own special blend and bring it home.  If you are a purist, you can grind your own coffee daily.  it will be much cheaper than the famous chains.  Now that’s frugal!

If you are remodeling, try doing some of it yourself.  A good staple gun will go a long long way – and save money.  Make sure you have plenty of caulk/silicone, brushes on hand.  Now that’s frugal!

Make sure you have a detailed list of the project and needed materials.  Do research online and watch Youtube videos.  This will help with the complete materials list as well as the procedures.  Lowe’s, Home Depot and Amazon will be your best friends.  If you have a small vehicle, lean toward Amazon with the larger pieces.  All of your ceiling tiles – regular and foam, molding, inlays, wallpaper, paint, electrical adapters/switches, shower base, faucet, shower head, drains, sliding barn door hardware, small tools, and so much more are there for the buying and free shipping to your door.  No gas required.  Now that’s frugal!

Shopping for birthdays or Christmas? Gift cards to their favorite stores and restaurants are always in season.  Make sure to hunt for deals where you receive something free when you buy the gift card, or get it at a discount (Sam’s sells a few like this).  Now that’s frugal!

When you change your oil or need or repairs, try going to a local business.  You will help your local economy, probably get some free advice, have a ready business in case you need support for your ministries or business.  Make sure to explore loyalty discounts.  Now that’s frugal!

If you need jewelry repairs, check out your local jeweler.  You will be less concerned about being taken and you can look forward to a good deal on your net jewelry purchase.  They may even give you an insurance appraisal for free if you are a regular.  Now that’s frugal!

If you need new shoes – even dressy ones – consider Payless.  They have very comfortable shoes of all kinds that look nice as well. Normally, they have BOG1/2 specials or BOGO specials and they will send you coupons if you sign up for their email club.  Now that’s frugal!

Speaking of cars, keep those engines going well with oil and fuel additives.  Also, look into a K&N lifetime air filter.  All of this will save you money in the long run.  Now that’s frugal!

If you have limited room in your car and need a tire lug wrench, consider a folding one  to save room.  Less than $13.  Now that’s frugal!
