If you love home-made breads, do a little research in your town.  Some grocery stores, cake shops, health food stores, and of course bakeries, have great selections of bread.  The prices and quality will pleasantly surprise you.  Your tummy will be glad you did.

If you have not been to Ruby Tuesdays lately, consider going.  The prices are in line with steakhouses, but their steaks are much better.  Check it out!

If you love shish kabobs, but do not like the hassle of trying to keep everything on the skewers, here is a great idea.  Buy kabob baskets, which will keep everything on and makes flipping so easy.  You will find that you are eating your favorite more often; perhaps even staying home instead of going out to eat.  Now that’s frugal!

Check out your local thrift stores for great clothes.  Some will even still have the original tags on them!  Also, look for specials on certain days for added savings.  You will have to pick through the selection, but you will find all types of clothes – even dress clothes – in near new shape at unbeatable prices.  Now that’s frugal!

For all the pet lovers that hate putting flea and tick medicine on their dogs, who normally have to interest in feeling the liquid go into their fur on their backs, there is great news.  From the makers of Frontline, comes a pill: NexGard.  All they have to do is chew and swallow the great tasting (to a dog) pill.  It could not be easier.At less than $20 each, it is even reasonably priced!

If you are looking for discontinued Mary Kay items, consider using eBay.  You will be able to compare prices pretty easily.  Read the seller feedback before buying.  There are plenty of buy now options – normally at prices that are even less than the original.  Now that’s frugal!

As the weather gets colder (and drier), make sure to have plenty of hand lotion for your hands and feet.  It may save some unwanted medical issues in the future.

If your state DMV has an online option, you should consider taking advantage of it.  Of course, you still have to have your car inspected and have your property taxes current, where applicable.  What you do not have to worry about is waiting in line, or driving to their office.  When you go through the online process, you know what you need, you fill in the information, and you get a temporary registration until yours comes in the mail in a few days.  Saves time and gas and time.  Now that’s frugal!

Look into Delta SkyMiles.  You can earn miles everytime you fly.  They fly almost everywhere.  WIth their home office in such an enormous airport (Atlanta) you have many advantages.  The best way to take advantage of this is to pair it with a Delta SkyMiles credit card from American Express.  Upon approval, you get a bonus of 30,000 miles and a $50 statement credit.  As long as you book with the card, your first bag flies free.  This saves you $25 on each flight!  You also get priority boarding, in flight discounts and you earn Delta miles for each dollar you spend.  Now that’s frugal!

In addition to GoodRx, there are other discount prescription avenues.  Compare, compare, compare!  Some local pharmacies have grants where you can save hundreds of dollars by using their pharmacy combined with county clinics who mostly operate through grants.  It is very much worth investigating in your local area.  Saving hundreds of dollars – now that’s frugal!
